We would like to congratulate Philipp Frank on becoming the new Oberbürgermeister of Waldshut.

The previous Oberbürgermeister, Martin Albers, decided to retire earlier this year, having been in the role since 1991. We would like to wish him well in his retirement as he had been a great friend and a big supporter of twinning over the years.
While over in Waldshut for Chilbi, Lewes Twinning Chairman, Jackie Price, and her husband, Ashley, got to meet and have a chat with both Philipp and Tanja. Philipp asked a lot about the twinning between the two towns and was very enthusiastic that the link should continue.
