After a tribute to previous Chairman Phillip Hall, we had the initial parts of the Agenda, before Chairman, Jackie Price gave her report on the last year.
The election of Chairman, Officers and Committee saw Jackie, as Chairman, with all Officers and Committee re-elected unanimously.
One matter was raised and unanimously agreed, and that was a membership subscription fee of £5.00 for those under 18 years old.
Jackie updated members on the upcoming events including the Association organising a Wine and Cheese evening, which will be open to the public, to be held in August, and the 550th anniversary of Chilbi. There were also updates on visits from people from our twin towns.
With the main part of the AGM completed, Ashley Price did a talk, with photos and videos, to give members more of a taste of Chilbi and to see if there would be interest for visiting for the 550th anniversary.
After Ashley's talk there was a meal, with the main course provided by Glenie and Gillies Catering, and the pudding and tea & coffee, provided by Association Treasurer, Carol Watts-Arnold.
Everyone enjoyed the evening, especially those who also won a prize on the raffle.
